These Terms of Service govern the use of the borealisdatalab.com website and the Borealis app (app.borealisdatalab.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Borealis on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept them for it.
Who provides the service
Borealis Data Lab is a brand of Borealis Data Intelligence LTDA (Brazilian company registration CNPJ 61.200.460/0001-58). Contact: [email protected].
What Borealis is
Borealis monitors the performance of ad accounts (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Reddit Ads, OpenAI Ads) and Google Analytics 4, compares each campaign with its own history, and points out relevant changes, their likely causes and a suggested next step.
- Read-only. Borealis reads performance data. It never creates, edits, pauses or deletes campaigns, ads, budgets or bids.
- Decision support. Analyses, alerts and suggestions are informational. The decision to change campaigns, budget or strategy is always yours.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens in your account. We recommend turning on two-step verification.
- Every account belongs to an organization. The organization’s owner decides who joins, with which role and in which projects, and is responsible for how members use it.
- Registration details must be accurate and kept up to date.
Connecting third-party platforms
- You may only connect ad accounts and analytics properties you are authorized to access and to share with Borealis.
- Your use of each platform remains subject to its own terms. Borealis relies on those companies’ APIs, which may change, limit or stop access; when that happens, some data or features may be unavailable.
- You can revoke access at any time, in Borealis (Integrations → Disconnect) or in the platform’s own settings.
Acceptable use
You may not: try to access other organizations’ data; bypass limits, authentication or security measures; reverse engineer the service; use it to send spam or unlawful content; resell access without an agreement with Borealis; or automate its use in a way that harms the service or the connected platforms.
Data and privacy
The data in your ad accounts remains yours. Borealis uses it only to produce your analysis, does not sell it and does not use it to train artificial intelligence. The details are in the Privacy Policy, and how to delete your data is explained in Data deletion.
Early access, trials and plans
- During early access and the trial period, the service is offered free of charge and may change, gain or lose features.
- Paid plans, prices and billing will be announced before any charge. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe to a plan.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and its analyses accurate, but it is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Borealis is not liable for decisions made based on its analyses, for campaign results, for failures of third-party platforms or for lost profits. Where liability exists, it is limited to the amount paid to Borealis in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law grants to consumers.
Intellectual property
The Borealis software, brand, website and analysis methods belong to Borealis Data Intelligence LTDA. These terms give you a license to use the service, not ownership of it.
Termination
You can stop using Borealis and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk, with prior notice whenever possible.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top is updated. Significant changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the district where Borealis Data Intelligence LTDA has its registered office have jurisdiction, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in their own domicile.
